Why do I have to run my own power and ground wires?
Unlike mechanical switches, our electronic control module needs 12v power (key on) to operate the timing circuits and microcontroller. The original switch only carried switched current to the motor.
Is this switch larger than the stock one?
Yes! They fit snuggly into dashes with stock gauge clusters and hoses going to the defrost vents. If you have other modifications made in that area of your dash, you might want to reach out.

Compatibility
Will it work in vehicles other than 67-72 C10's?
If it uses a GM 2-speed motor with 3 or 4 terminals, there's a good chance that our module will work, with some minor modifications, but I have not yet tested other models. The orientation of the pins on the housing is set up specifically for the weird, angled 3-prong pin from the 67-72 c10
