Terms of service
Effective June 1, 2026
These terms cover purchases made through dwellcircuit.com. By placing an order, you agree to them. If something here doesn't sit right, reach out before you buy and we'll sort it out.
Who you're buying from
Dwell Circuit Company LLC ("Dwell Circuit Co.," "we," "us") is a small hardware company based in Lexington, Kentucky. We design and assemble our products ourselves, in small batches, and sell them directly through this site.
Ordering and acceptance
When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. We accept it when we charge your payment method and send a confirmation. Until then, we can decline or cancel an order, including for pricing errors, suspected fraud, or stock we can't fill. If we cancel after charging you, we refund you in full.
Pricing and payment
Prices are in U.S. dollars and don't include shipping or any applicable sales tax, which are shown at checkout. Payment is processed through Shopify Payments. We don't see or store your full card number.
We do our best to keep pricing and product details accurate. If we find an error after you order, we'll let you know and give you the choice to proceed at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.
Intended use and assumption of risk
Our products are intended for off-road or show vehicle use. Installing one means working on a 12V automotive electrical system, and you take on all risk and responsibility for doing that correctly and safely. You're responsible for confirming compatibility with your vehicle before installing, and for following the install guide. If you aren't comfortable doing the work, have a qualified installer handle it.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Dwell Circuit Company LLC isn't responsible for damage to your vehicle, wiper system, or other property, or for any injury, arising from the installation or use of our products.
Limitation of liability
Beyond the limited warranty in our Return and Refund Policy, and to the extent the law allows, Dwell Circuit Company LLC isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the purchase, installation, or use of our products. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product. Some states don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.
Warranty, returns, and shipping
Our Return and Refund Policy and Shipping Policy are part of these terms. Read them for what's covered, how returns and warranty claims work, and how we ship.
Intellectual property
The Dwell Circuit Co. name, logo, product designs, firmware, and site content belong to Dwell Circuit Company LLC. Buying a product doesn't transfer any rights to copy or resell the design.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms as the business grows. The version in effect when you order is the one that applies to that order.
